Becoming a Data Partner

If you are a webmaster and maintain a website that also tracks serial number information for specific games, it is now possible for you to publish IPSND serial number data directly within your site. The advantages of this approach is...
  1. Your serial number lists are always up to date and are dynamically driven from the IPSND database.
  2. You will no longer have to manually update your site with new serial numbers emailed to you.
  3. The serial number repository becomes centralized so that your site actually gains from other IPSND partner sites as well.

This has been a longstanding issue with most 'owners list' sites in that when a page is first started, it is maintained with great vigor but over time, serial number submissions do not get posted frequently and eventually the site dissapears potentially taking all the serial numbers gathered with it.

With the data driven nature of the IPSND you can take advantage of this powerful database simply by registering below and adding one line of HTML to your site.

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://ipsnd.net/affiliate.ashx?id=476"></script>

Notice that the 'id' parameter specifies the IPSND/IPDB game id. This example is for Bally's 1981 game Centaur which is id 476.

what you will get is simple table that looks like these samples.

In order for the link to work properly, you must register your site with the IPSND using the form below. Once registered, use put the sample code above into your site. There are several ways to customize the resulting grid, please see the Advanced Settings page for more info.

Fill in the form below in order to publish IPSND data on your own website.

Site Name: This is simply the name of your site. It will be used in all public references to your site. For example... on the 'partner listing' page and the 'statistics' pages.
Site URL:This field is very important as it identifies the traffic from your specific site. This should be the URL that is the base of your site. For example, if your site is located at http://www.somedomain.com/mysite/pinballs/ then you would put in a site URL of 'www.somedomain.com/mysite/pinballs'. This is basically a filter allows your site and only your site to use your partner account. Since partner traffic is throttled as demand increases, it is important to make this as specific as possible for your site.

If your site is hosted by a large ISP like AOL. Then it would be a very bad idea to put in a site id of 'www.aol.com' as that would allow anyone with a web page on aol.com to use your partner account.
